On Monday, the Charleston County Republican Party’s executive committee “took the unusual step” of officially censuring Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC). The local GOP committee admonished Graham for stepping across party lines to work with Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) on a bipartisan clean energy bill and other pieces of legislation. The censure stated that Graham’s “bipartisanship continues to weaken the Republican brand and tarnish the ideals of freedom.”

Sadly part of the pressure against Graham has also stemmed from his criticism of hate radio and Fox News host Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck is the guy Republicans should be stepping away from. His is massively unpopular, but then again, maybe they didnt here about his rape?

Granted I wouldn’t talk to someone who turns down dissenter’s mics or has a host who won’t let anyone who disagrees finish making their point. FoxNews should really drop the victim card. There may be a freedom guaranteed to the press, but theres no promise of access in that guarentee.
